Homeless Stand Down and Health Fair

2011 Homeless Stand Down LogoPlease help spread the word about this Friday's Homeless Stand Down and Health Fair to all the homeless men and women you serve - veterans and civilians.



The Stand Down is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hyde Park United Methodist Church, 500 W. Platt Street, Tampa.



The Hillsborough County Sunshine Line, along with Mental Health Care, will provide free transportation to and from the event. Pick up locations are:



Salvation Army, N. Florida Ave. (1 pick up at 8 a.m. only)

Mental Health Care, 6220 N. Nebraska Ave.

Homeless Recovery, 2410 N. Tampa St.

Metropolitan Ministries, 2301 N. Tampa St.



Please see, print and post the Stand Down transportation schedule for your clients.

The Homeless Coalition would like to thank all the organizations and individuals involved in planning the Stand Down as well as those participating in the event. The Stand Down is coordinated by the Homeless Coalition of Hillsborough County, sponsored by Hillsborough County Homeless Reintegration Program and funded by Department of Labor.
